Are you a qualified Accountant with strong technical skills and a passion for financial reporting? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy finance team during a period of transformation, providing assurance over financial accounts and collaborating closely with outsourced partners. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering accurate, compliant, and insightful financial information.

What you’ll do
  • Manage and coordinate the year-end schedule for financial accounts, liaising with auditors and stakeholders.
  • Produce statutory accounts in line with IFRS, FreM, and regulatory standards.
  • Support interim and year-end audits, preparing working papers and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Review and enhance outsourced financial reporting to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyse monthly accounts, prepare management reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee funding flows, daily cash forecasts, and reconcile financial data.
  • Act as the key contact between finance and outsourced providers, ensuring strong control and compliance.
  • Manage treasury functions, including bank accounts, authorisations, and cash monitoring.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships across teams and providers to improve processes and resolve issues.
What you’ll need
  • Fully qualified Accountant with substantial technical experience in financial accounting.
  • Experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and year-end processes; public sector or financial instruments experience is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and the confidence to challenge when necessary.
  • Professional, collaborative, and confident, able to build positive relationships internally and externally.
