A leading healthcare provider in Glasgow is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a full-time position. You will be responsible for both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus. The ideal candidate should have completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship and possess relevant qualifications such as IET 18th Ed Wiring Regulations. There are two fulltime, permanent posts of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Mon-Thur (0800-1600), Fri (0800-1530).
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Operational Estates is looking to recruit TWO Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join the Estate’s dayshift electrical team to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus.
The successful applicant will, while primarily carrying out electrical tasks, be part of a multi-skilled technical team and will be responsible for the delivery of specialist technical services for a wide range of duties in relation to all disciplines of building services, including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. The post holder will accept a wide range of cross-trade duties to deliver a high standard of service. All cross-discipline training will be provided as required.
The successful applicant will also have responsibilities to assist with training and education of apprentices and adult trainees, ensuring they gain the necessary training and experience to meet the needs of their training program.
