A leading consultancy is seeking a full-time Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to join their Transport South Team in Bristol. The role involves planning and preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and conducting studies for various clients. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and excellent communication skills, as well as experience with transport-related documents and software. We are seeking a full-time Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner for our Transport South Team based in Bristol.
We offer a challenging and rewarding career working for a leading consultancy with a strong presence in London and the south of England. You will join a growing & established team delivering a wide variety of interesting projects for clients in the private and public sectors.
Our clients typically include housing and commercial developers, local authorities, highway authorities, architects, town‐planners and other professionals.
Your work will include development‐related transport planning and will include preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, transport chapters for environmental impact assessment, and other development‐related transport reports. You will also prepare transport studies for our public sector clients. You will undertake site visits and attend meetings as required. The role will also involve some client liaison, such as attending meetings. Full support will be provided on a day‐to‐day basis by an experienced transport‐planning professional.
Above all, we are looking for someone with the following qualities:
Degree or Masters in a relevant subject (e.g. transport planning, civil engineering, geography).
