Maintenance Engineer - Frome, Somerset

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per year. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 shift. Benefits include 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays), 14% Pension scheme, Life assurance, ongoing training and development, progression opportunities, project involvement, and access to a discount platform.

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over 9 million of investment going into the factory and growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

• Planned maintenance inspections, review parts used
• Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on a range of equipment
• Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair of machinery
• Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs, risk assessments
• Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues
• Work on a range of valves & pumps
• Support production & continuous improvement projects

• Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
• Continuous improvement knowledge
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
• Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments

• Salary: 45,000 - 50,000
• Mon - Fri, 3 shift
