To ensure a whole family approach is adopted, from assessment planning and intervention through to aftercare methodologies. Expected to model One Coventry Core Social Care Values, best practice, and a strong commitment to the continuous development of Trauma-Informed Services. To maintain elements of Signs of Safety, with a Family Valued model of Social Care practice. Responsible for managing a team in accordance with Coventry City Council's HR policies, including recruitment and line management. Expected to achieve high practice standards and meet performance targets. Work closely with the Tirs Team leader to embed and sustain work within paediatric, Ward14, and SEND schools settings. All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. This role does not offer sponsorship. The post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.

We seek an individual responsible for the effective management and delivery of services to children, young people, and their families. Manage the Positive Directions team to meet statutory objectives. Prepare and oversee court and other reports. Support staff through challenging times. Oversee trauma-informed interventions and evidence-based programs. Ensure high-quality joint work with partner agencies. Work closely with the Tirs Team leader in specified settings.
