Are you a highly skilled Electronics Engineer with experience in designing and developing robust electronic and electromechanical systems within regulated, high-reliability industries?

You'll be joining a well-established and well-funded organisation that designs and produces a range of cutting-edge, high-integrity electronic and electromechanical assemblies. In this highly varied and technically challenging role, you'll be involved in new product development, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to design, prototype, test, and bring to market sophisticated electronic systems. You'll ensure best practices in Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) and play a key role in the development of custom test fixtures and production tooling.

This role suits a detail-oriented engineer with hands-on experience using Altium and SolidWorks and a background in PCB design, product testing, volume manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

The Role

• Develop electronic/electromechanical assemblies, including PCB layout, prototyping, and validation.
• Create custom test fixtures and support DFM/DFT for efficient, scalable manufacturing in highly-regulated industries.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, and production teams to resolve technical issues and implement continuous improvements.

The Person

• Experience in electronics/electrical engineering using Altium and SolidWorks.
• Background in PCB design, testing, and fault-finding within highly-regulated or safety-critical environments (i.e. Oil & Gas).
• Familiarity with embedded coding (e.g. C or Python) and a mindset for design for manufacture, test, and continuous improvement.
