An engineering firm in Newbury is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join their team. This role offers a permanent position with a salary range of £28,000 to £36,000 per annum dependent on experience. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in electrical installation, with a focus on equipment commissioning and PLCs. Strong communication skills and a full driving license are essential.

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship NVQ / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering.
  • 18th edition ideally.
  • Previous experience in electrical installation or maintenance role.
  • Experience of equipment installation and commissioning PLC's.
  • Keen to learn and develop a range of skills.
  • Able to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Working within the existing engineering electrical team.
  • Installing and commissioning equipment and control systems.
  • Working with PLC's.
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on an Electrical Installation Engineer to develop as part of their team.

The Electrical Installation Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
