We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to work as part of our Business Improvement team.
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and embedding continuous improvement activity across the organisation, with a strong focus on the See it, Share it, Shape it initiative, the Observation process, and the Lessons Learnt process.
The role ensures that observations, ideas, and learning raised by employees are captured, assessed, communicated, and closed out effectively, driving real and sustained improvement. The coordinator acts as the central point of control for these processes, supporting a proactive improvement culture and data-driven decision making.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders across the business, shape how improvement is delivered and play a key role in strengthening a proactive, learning-led culture.

Responsibilities
- Continuous Improvement and Culture
- Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business
- Champion the See it, Share it, Shape it initiative and encourage participation at all levels
- Support employees to identify observations, risks, opportunities and improvement ideas
- Promote learning, transparency and consistent improvement behaviours
- See it, Share it, Shape it - the company-wide process for raising, reviewing and delivering improvement ideas.
- Own and coordinate the end-to-end See it, Share it, Shape it process
- Act as the central point of contact for See it, Share it, Shape it submissions and queries
- Work with DOT to ensure improvement ideas and observations are reviewed assessed and progressed in a timely manner
- Provide clear and timely feedback to individuals raising improvement ideas
- Track See it, Share it, Shape it actions through to completion and elevate delays or risks
- Observation Process - the structured process for identifying risks, unsafe conditions and improvement opportunities and ensuring they are acted on.
- Use observation dashboards to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and highlight overdue actions
- Support teams and responsible owners to maintain momentum and timely resolution
- Provide feedback to support the effective flow of observation and actions
- Work with Data Analyst to surface observation data to identify trends, recurring issues and improvement opportunities
- Lessons Learnt Process - the process for capturing learning from events and ensuring actions prevent recurrence.
- Ensure lessons learnt are reviewed, catergorised and assigned appropriate actions
- Track "Further Action Required" and "No Action Required" outcomes to completion
- Use the Lessons Learnt dashboard to ensure all actions are closed out effectively
- Ensure lessons learnt are shared, communicated and embedded into standard ways of working
- Data, Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, manage and analyse data from See it, Share it, Shape it, observations and Lessons learnt
- Work with Data Analyst to report statistical data, key messages and business performance through agreed channels
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to support improvement, observation and learning processes
- Communicate progress, outcomes and learning through Hub posts, updates or blogs
- Support two-way communication so employee feedback informs improvement priorities
- Promote successful improvements and recognise positive contributions
- Continuous Improvement Team Support
- Support continuous improvement team meetings
- Work with Data Analyst to prepare reports, dashboards and supporting information for meetings
- Track agreed actions and ensure accountability

- Any other tasks as required by the Business Improvement Director or the Business
Required Skills and Behaviours
- Essential
- Experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process improvement
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to analyse data and present insights clearly
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with dashboards, reporting tools, or improvement systems
- Desirable
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
- Experience using dashboards, reporting tools, or improvement management systems
- Experience facilitating meetings or cross-functional working groups
