Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their manufacturing site. This is an excellent opportunity for an established electrical engineer with controls experience to join a leading food manufacturer. The successful candidate would join the engineering department working Monday to Friday.
JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer
Work Location: Northern Ireland
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
Rotating: 4 on 4 off Days 05:30 - 17:30 and Nights 17:30 - 05:30

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The role of the electrical systems engineer on site is to provide electrical support to the on-site engineering team through advice and guidance as well as hands-on technical support.
- Upgrade and maintain site PLC programs and backups, review obsolete systems and upgrade.
- Support electrical duty holder in maintaining site standards.
- Support with training and upskilling shift engineers and apprentices
- Review site electrical specifications of existing equipment and new installations
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Role requirements and qualifications:
- Time served electrical engineer, HNC/HND in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- A good understanding of working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
- A proven track record of fault finding from a FMCG environment.
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility as and when required.
