Job summary
A leading precision engineering firm in Wolverhampton is seeking a Commercial Engineer for a permanent, full-time role. Responsibilities include producing customer quotations, leading estimating activities, and analysing cost data for savings. Ideal candidates will have strong precision engineering knowledge, experience with cost-saving initiatives, and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities
- Produce accurate customer quotations using best-practice estimating methods.
- Lead and coordinate estimating activities across the team.
- Provide commercial support for engineering Cost of Sales.
- Analyse Cost of Sales data for cost-saving opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Estimate CNC machined parts and prepare costings.
- Work with Supply Chain to source materials.
