Job summary
A creative design agency is seeking a Freelance Midweight Motion Designer for a hybrid role in Leeds, working onsite one day per week. This position involves creating high-quality motion graphics and collaborating with creative talent across various mediums. Applicants should have several years of motion design experience, proficiency in After Effects, and a passion for innovation and creativity. The role is ideal for those looking to contribute to impactful creative projects within the entertainment sector.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in motion design, with a strong showreel.
- Deep knowledge of key design software, especially After Effects.
- Excellent fundamentals in animation, composition, and storytelling.

Skills
£280 - £320 / day (Outside IR35)
3-4 months initial contract
Hybrid Leeds (1 day / week onsite)
Our client is looking for a talented Freelance Middleweight Motion Designer to join their Brand & Creative Studio and working 1 day / week onsite with the team in Leeds . You’ll be working on leading iGaming brands in Sports Betting, Poker and Casino games so should love working in the entertainment sector and creating bold, original motion work for digital, social, campaign and broadcast.
- Create high quality motion graphics
- Bring concepts to life across digital, social, product and campaigns
- Collaborate with creatives, editors and 3D artists to deliver cohesive, standout content
- Explore new animation styles, techniques and AI assisted workflows
- Contribute ideas from concept through to delivery, raising creative standards across the studio
- several years’ experience in motion design (agency or in-house) with a strong showreel
- Deep knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent animation fundamentals, composition and visual storytelling
- A passion for innovation, experimentation and creativity
- Great communication, organisation and a collaborative mindset
