Qualifications

Your Responsibilities as a Complex Care Worker

In this vital health and social care role, you will be responsible for providing sophisticated clinical care and daily support. Your key duties will include :

  • Delivering high-quality complex clinical care, including :
  • PEG Feeding and management.
  • Tracheostomy Care.
  • Ventilator and BiPAP Management.
  • Spinal Injury Support.
  • Cough Assist and Oxygen Therapy.
  • Supporting clients with daily living skills to promote independence and well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate digital care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
  • Working collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) to ensure consistent, safe and effective care.
Essential Requirements for this Care Job

To be successful in this support worker role, you will need :

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a Complex Care role (with adults or children).
  • Proven competency in clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and ventilator management.
  • Confidence in using digital care planning systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, resilient and professional attitude.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults or Children).
