• Architect & evolve our design system: own design tokens, theming strategy, accessibility standards, and visual language across web, desktop, and mobile.
• Build modular, versioned component libraries: deliver React + Web Component packages that power both our core app and customer-embedded micro-frontends.
• Create world-class tooling: advance Storybook, Chromatic, and Figma plugin workflows so every contributor can prototype, test, and ship quickly.
• Drive adoption & governance: author guidelines, run reviews, and partner with engineering & UX to ensure consistency at warp speed.
• Scale data-driven UI patterns: design configurable layouts and visualization primitives that render billions of rows without compromising Core Web Vitals.
• Coach & mentor: level up engineers and designers on system thinking, accessibility, and performance-first development.

• 8+ years building large-scale web applications, with 2+ years dedicated to design-system architecture.
• Strong perspective on tokens, theming, and multi-brand support, demonstrated in production.
• Mastery of React (or equivalent) and TypeScript, with experience publishing component libraries to NPM or internal registries.
• Proven record of accessibility leadership (WCAG, ARIA, keyboard navigation, color contrast).
• Fluency in modern CSS methodologies (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, CSS Modules) and front-end testing (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright).
• Strong communication skills—able to align product, design, and engineering around system conventions and trade-offs.

• OSS contributions to design systems or front-end tooling.
• Experience writing Figma plugins or design-token pipelines.
• Expertise with micro-frontend orchestration (Module Federation, Single-SPA, etc).

• Speed with craftsmanship: tight feedback loops, continuous delivery, rigorous peer reviews.
• Performance first: we treat Time-to-Interactive, bundle size, and UX motion as top-level product metrics.
• Inclusive, global team: collaborate with authentic engineers and designers across the US, India, and Europe.
• Ownership culture: you architect, you guide, you measure, you iterate.
