Brilliant opportunity to work as a Transport Planner for our client, a leading logistics group operating within the UK transport, warehouse, and fulfilment sector.

Staffline is recruiting a Transport Planner to work in Colchester.

The rate of pay is £32,000-£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:

• 8am to 6pm

As a Transport Planner, you will contribute to the success of the transport team by overseeing the day-to-day planning functions of the transport operation.

You should be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling daily challenges to develop effective transport plans.

We are looking for someone with most of the following:

• Experience using a Transport Management System (TMS)
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently to resolve issues and manage workload
• Proven experience in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines calmly
• Effective team player with a collaborative approach
• Solution-focused mindset

• Hours: 45 per week, 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday
• Salary: £32,000 rising to £35,000 after probation
