A leading NHS Trust in Orpington seeks a motivated individual to join their nurse-led team delivering Systematic Anticancer Therapy (SACT). This role involves providing expert care, managing a caseload, and advocating for patients. Candidates should have experience in haematology and oncology, strong communication, and leadership skills. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic nurse-led team to deliver Systematic Anticancer Therapy (SACT) for patients with oncological, haematological and non-malignant disease. You should have experience in haematology and/or oncology, in delivering SACT, and be able to develop your skills as a team leader.
King's College NHS Foundation Trust has two Chemotherapy Day Unit (CDU) sites – Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) Chartwell CDU – which work closely together.
The post holder will play a key role in developing nursing expertise in delivering SACT to improve the experience of the local population for both malignant and non-malignant conditions. The Trust is a centre of excellence for haematological malignancy and a liver centre, and hosts ongoing clinical trials at local, national and international levels.
We collaborate across the South East as part of the South East London Cancer Alliance (SELCA), and are part of King's Health Partners with close links to Guy's Cancer Academy and King's College London.
• Experience in haematology and/or oncology and a proven track record delivering SACT.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to develop leadership skillsets.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to national and Trust guidelines for chemotherapy delivery.
