A progressive company in the travel industry is seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer to focus on compliance and data protection. The successful candidate will manage data protection inquiries, support compliance activities, and provide legal guidance. This role demands up to two years of relevant experience and a recognized qualification in data protection. With a commitment to corporate responsibility, the company offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team environment.
Legal and Compliance Officer
Location: Hybrid, with ability to work from our Bideford or Norwich based office weekly
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5
At Travel Chapter, we’re proud to be a B Corp and a people first business. As we continue to grow, we’re strengthening our commitment to doing things the right way for our customers, our communities and our teams. Our Legal and Compliance function plays a central role in helping us stay compliant, informed and accountable.
We are now looking for a Legal and Compliance Officer to join our team, with a strong focus on compliance and data protection. You’ll also support the wider business with day-to-day legal work, but the majority of your time will sit within compliance, data governance and maintaining high standards across our regulatory responsibilities.
This role would suit someone early in their career who has up to two years’ experience in the relevant areas and who is keen to deepen their expertise. You must hold (or be working towards) a recognised practitioner-level data protection qualification, as this role requires a solid grounding in UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
Joining us means becoming part of a business that cares. As a B Corp, we’re committed to making a positive impact for our people, our planet and our communities. You’ll be part of a supportive team, based in a beautiful part of the country, with hybrid flexibility and opportunities to grow as we continue to evolve.
If this sounds like the next chapter you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
