Overview

The Echelford Primary School is a large, friendly, three‑form entry primary school in Ashford, Surrey with a diverse catchment and a wonderful team spirit. We have a strong reputation for working collaboratively with other local schools and are constantly on the look‑out for opportunities to enhance our provision. We are a member of the Lumen Learning Trust, a trust that puts the children's needs at the heart of its provision. The right candidate will be joining a strong, professional team of enthusiastic staff who will work alongside you in a supportive and constructive way. The Echelford Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to manage our Wraparound Club.

Qualifications
  • Wants to create a provision that is inclusive, stimulating, safe, caring and creative.

  • Is able to lead the organisation of the Wraparound Club adhering to the schools' policies around safeguarding.
  • Is able to lead and work as part of a team and use own initiative.
Hours

Part time. 7:00 am – 8:45 am and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional 1 hour per week for admin tasks during term time (38 weeks per year). Total weekly hours: 24.75.

Although this role is advertised with split‑shift hours, we recognise that not all applicants may be able to commit to the morning session. If you are unable to work the Breakfast Club hours we would still welcome your application. We can consider alternative working hours that would still enable the Breakfast Club to be effectively covered and managed.

Salary

£30,647 – £32,867 Full Time equivalent, Actual annual salary £17,661 – £18,940 for 24.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
