The HR Systems Analyst provides effective, accurate, and timely day-to-day functional systems administration support for HR systems, primarily Dayforce and ServiceNow, with potential future systems in scope. You will maintain high levels of customer service, ensure compliance with company procedures, security of employee information, and legal obligations. Additionally, you will conduct analysis and support IT application activities requiring HR systems expertise.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Performing routine and ad hoc data audits to ensure data integrity in HR systems, analyzing results, coordinating data cleansing, maintaining issue logs, and participating in data governance forums.
- Conducting routine and ad hoc systems administration tasks such as maintenance, organizational design components, and business improvement activities, including shift rotations, pay, entitlements, time entry policies, data mapping, job management, and contract solutions.
- Managing bulk data uploads and supporting projects like TUPEs, acquisitions, and policy changes affecting HR systems.
- Carrying out data purge and archiving routines per data retention policies.
- Administering user provisioning and managing access queries in line with security policies.
- Handling client inquiries and service requests related to HR systems within agreed timescales, ensuring satisfaction and accurate case documentation.
- Collaborating with IT and HR teams to manage queries, support upgrades, testing, and system maintenance, and contributing to the HR systems roadmap and new functionality adoption.
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and work instructions for HR systems administration tasks.
- Supporting, designing, and delivering HR systems training, and participating in super user groups and communications.
- Participating in product forums and staying updated on new system features.
Required skills and experience:
- Systems administration and reporting experience
- Experience with Cloud/SaaS systems, preferably HR or payroll products
- Proficiency in reporting tools like Power BI
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret large, complex data sets
