Regional Lead - Ultrasound Bone Health Screening (REMS)

Salary: £45,000‑£65,000 + performance bonus + mileage / car allowance

Location: Regional (with travel across assigned territory)

Role Overview

A rapidly growing preventative health and screening organisation is expanding its radiation‑free, ultrasound‑based bone health screening services across the UK using advanced REMS technology.

This organisation operates a screening, education, and research‑led service, delivering non‑diagnostic ultrasound bone health assessments in private, corporate, and wellness environments.

The Regional Lead role blends hands‑on screening delivery with regional leadership and operational oversight, offering a clear pathway into national screening leadership as the service scales.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced radiographers, sonographers, or ultrasound imaging professionals seeking to move beyond traditional diagnostic pathways and help shape the future of preventative screening in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Ultrasound Screening & Service Delivery
  • Deliver high‑quality REMS ultrasound bone health screenings across regional locations
  • Ensure consistent delivery aligned with internal protocols, data standards, and consent frameworks
  • Support mobilisation of screening services into new venues and partner sites
  • Monitor regional performance including throughput, data quality, and reporting completion
  • Maintain best practice in data governance, accuracy, and participant experience

This role does not involve diagnosis, clinical decision‑making, or treatment.

Regional Leadership & People Development
  • Act as the senior regional lead for screening operations
  • Support onboarding, supervision, and development of screening practitioners
  • Maintain consistency, professionalism, and service quality across sites
  • Foster a high‑performing, accountable team culture during regional growth
Operational & Commercial Support
  • Plan regional rotas, schedules, and service capacity
  • Support productivity, efficiency, and growth targets
  • Act as a key point of contact for partner venues and stakeholders
  • Provide operational insight to central leadership to support national expansion
Candidate Profile
Essential
  • Formal qualification and proven professional experience in one or more of the following:
  • Radiography
  • Sonography
  • Ultrasound imaging
  • Demonstrable track record delivering imaging‑based services in structured environments
  • Experience working within clear protocols, governance, and data standards
  • Leadership, supervisory, or senior operational experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
Desirable
  • Experience with REMS or ultrasound‑based screening technologies
  • Exposure to preventative health, screening, or multi‑site service delivery
  • Experience supporting service expansion or operational scale‑up
