A logistics recruitment firm is seeking an Operations Manager in Luton to lead airfreight and customs operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in air cargo and UK customs procedures, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role also supports multimodal logistics and requires strong leadership skills for team development. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualificações

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in airfreight operations (export / import) within a freight forwarder or air cargo environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with UK customs procedures and ASM Sequoia.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage daily air export and import operations.
  • Lead all customs activities for imports, exports, and transit declarations.
  • Support coordination of road transport with TC’s European fleet.
  • Guarantee accurate and responsive quotations for airfreight services.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the operations and customs team at Luton.
  • Manage the entire shipment lifecycle from booking to delivery.
