Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are recruiting for our client based in Wolverhampton for a Sales & Customer Service Specialist on a permanent basis.
We’re on the hunt for a dynamic, high-energy, and results-driven Sales & Customer Service Specialist to join our client! If you have a flair for internal sales and enjoy building relationships with customers this is the role for you.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
Salary:
£25,500 starting salary + commission
£27,500 after a successful 6 month probation
Description and key responsibilities as a Sales & Customer Service Specialist:
- Processing orders via telephone, fax and email onto a bespoke CRM system.
- Processing inbound queries via both telephone and email quickly and in a professional manner.
- Support the retention and growth of the customer base by continually liaising with current customers and prospecting for new customers via own initiative or using our call list system.
- Regularly updating the customer database to ensure that all details are up to date and accurate.
- Advising customers of available products and offering alternatives that best fit their needs.
- Form meaningful customer relationships through conversations where you identify, understand and meet their needs, providing access to specialist advice where required.
- Liaising with warehouse and distribution to ensure orders arrive on time.
- Log customer issues as well as responding to and solving customer problems / queries / complaints.
- General administrative duties.
- Take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities whenever reasonably asked.
Qualifications and skills required as a Sales & Customer Service Specialist:
- You’ll need to be a highly organised, confident and articulate individual who can work effectively under pressure.
- Experience in sales.
- Good time management skills and able to prioritise your workload.
- The ability to work well within a team across a range of people and recognise opportunities to secure increased business on behalf of the Company.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- The ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including first class written and spoken English.
- Work accurately with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and passionate.
- Enthusiastic and an effective team member.
- Excellent investigative and problem solving skills.
