Customer Advisor

The hourly rate for this role is £12.40 and up to £14.13 across selected locations in London. The rate increases after 6 months in role.

About the role

You will work onsite and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities may include operating tills, advising customers, and working in the back shop. You will also:

  • Help customers and put them at ease by listening, answering questions, and giving great advice on product selection.
  • Promote in-store offers and schemes to better inform customers.
  • Ensure products are displayed correctly on the shop floor, maintain a great service at the tills, and help with stock in the rooms.
  • Collaborate with teammates to keep the store clean and presentable.
  • Receive award‑winning training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.
What you’ll need to have

Essential skills or experience:

  • Full training will be provided; we’re looking for people who excel in a varied, fast‑paced environment.
  • Communicate and listen effectively.
  • Work well as part of a team and promote a collaborative dynamic.
  • Understand that even small actions have a significant impact on customer interactions.
  • Take pride in representing Boots and help customers find the best products.
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience providing customer care and delivering great customer service (not essential).
