Customer Service Advisor
Job summary
A leading staffing agency is seeking Customer Service Advisors in Barnsley to provide exceptional support to customers. The role involves responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and updating records accurately. Ideal candidates should have strong communication and problem-solving skills. The pay rate is £12.97 per hour with flexible hours covering 6 out of 7 days.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to use computers and customer management systems.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and ensure satisfaction.
- Update customer records accurately.

- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a friendly and professional manner
- Resolving issues efficiently and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Updating customer records accurately using our internal systems
- Working collaboratively with other departments to solve problems and improve the customer experience
- Providing product and service information to help customers make informed decisions
- Previous experience in a customer service role (desirable, but not essential)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable using computers and customer management systems
- 5 hours 6 out of 7 days, with 1 rota’d day off in the week. Must be fully flexible to work ALL days
- £12.97 per hour
- The duration of the assignment will be roughly 12 weeks from the intake date
- You will be based in the office full-time
- We’re offering multiple intakes – 6th October, 13th October, 20th October and 3rd November
