Job summary
A housing association is seeking a Customer Services Advisor to join the team in Newcastle, Carlisle, or Workington. The role involves providing high-quality customer service, processing repairs, and advising residents on account matters. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with customer service experience. The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with a salary of £13,754 - £15,040 plus benefits.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience dealing with customer enquiries.
- Knowledge of customer care principles.
Responsibilities
- Process day-to-day and specialist repairs reported by customers.
- Liaise with contractors and Property Services colleagues.
- Update important records in CRM and document management systems.
- Advise residents on rent/service charge accounts and take payments.
- Provide advice on lettings and anti-social behaviour matters.

If you are looking for an exciting new role, this is a great opportunity to join the Customer Services Team at CCHA. Our Customer Services Advisors are responsible for providing a high standard of customer service, dealing with customer enquiries at the first point of contact (in person and by telephone, text, webchat and via email/website).
- Processing day to day and specialist repairs reported by our customers
- Liaising with contractors and Property Services colleagues to deal with complex responsive repairs on a regular basis
- Updating important records (including CRM and electronic document management systems)
- Advising residents on rent/service charge accounts
- Taking payments
- Giving advice on lettings and anti-social behaviour matters
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated; is a problem-solver; has experience dealing with customer enquiries combined with a knowledge of the principles of customer care.
- Carlisle, Newcastle or Workington
- 20 hours per week
- 24-month fixed term contract
- £13,754 - £15,040 per annum + benefits package
