Job summary
A leading domiciliary care provider in Greater London is seeking a dedicated Admiral Nurse. This position requires a registered nurse with a profound knowledge of dementia care and a commitment to supporting families. The role includes providing emotional support, training staff, and developing care-planning tools. The ideal candidate will have a post-registration qualification in dementia and the willingness to enhance their skills through ongoing education. This position offers a hybrid working model with support from Dementia UK.
Qualifications
- NMC registered adult/mental health/learning disability nurse with significant experience.
- Formal knowledge of dementia acquired through clinical post-graduate training.
- Willingness to complete necessary e-learning courses.
Responsibilities
- Support best practices through advice and role modelling for care staff.
- Provide emotional support and psychosocial interventions to families.
- Develop assessment and care-planning tools for use across the network.
