A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join its New Homes team in Taunton. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload from instruction through to completion, support colleagues across the department, and bring strong expertise in site setup and related sales.

• Handling the setup of new sites and associated sales.
• Preparing and reviewing legal reports for the team.
• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the New Homes team, including training, progression, and wellbeing support.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, client care standards, performance criteria, and SRA regulations, including CQS accreditation.
• Managing workload capacity within the team.
• Providing guidance, coaching, and problem-solving support on conveyancing matters.
• Assessing and managing risk on own and complex cases, offering practical advice and solutions.
• Ensuring due diligence in all aspects of new homes conveyancing, including Help to Buy, freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and related transactions.

• Minimum 2 years’ PQE in conveyancing, ideally with new homes experience.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Adaptable and open to new technologies.
• Confident in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
