Qualifications

  • Able to handle Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases.
  • Experience in managing New Build transactions, Remortgages, and Transfers of Equity.

Overview

Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor - Gloucester - 3 years PQE plus. Location: Gloucester (Hybrid/Flexible). Type of Role: Full-time. Salary: £45,000 to £65,000.


The Role

This is an autonomous position with responsibility for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload. Key duties include:



  • Handling Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases

  • Managing New Build transactions, Remortgages, Transfers of Equity, and Lease Extensions

  • Advising on SDLT reliefs and exemptions

  • Dealing with unregistered properties and title restrictions/cautions

  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members

  • Building relationships with estate agents and brokers

  • Supporting business development and departmental growth


Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor with:



  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing complex residential conveyancing matters

  • Strong technical knowledge across the full range of conveyancing work

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience

  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service

  • Familiarity with SDLT, Land Registry, and case management systems
