Job summary
A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer on a 6-month FTC based in Luton. In this role, you will provide legal guidance on contracts, ensuring compliance with national laws. You will manage contractual risks and negotiations, working with a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in commercial legal departments and excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in the defence and space sectors.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in commercial legal and contracts work reviewing and drafting contracts.
- Strong relationship builder and communicator with team leadership experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage change effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and manage contracts.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements and directives.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.
- Maintain client and supplier relationships.
