Bid Writer Dungannon £40-45k
Our client based in Mid Ulster has an immediate requirement to recruit a Bid Writer for their commercial team.
You will be responsible for bid writing and accurate pricing for Construction bids/tenders for projects throughout Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, management, and completion tender submissions across all procurement stages.
- Draft, write, and coordinate high-quality bid responses that clearly address client requirements
- Monitoring and updating tender registers and compiling reports, following up on tender submissions
- Handover of projects, following successful Bid
- Submitting compliant tenders to meet required deadlines
- Collating quotations to calculate materials, equipment and labour costs & pricing to maintain a competitive advantage
- Read tender drawings including taking off quantities manually and using IT software
- Prepare project tender summary for Board approval
- Prepare and write compliant bids
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing construction bids
- Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Confident working independently and escalating issues when needed.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- A high level of IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel & Word
