Job summary
A non-profit organization focused on mental health is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to produce impactful posts and engage online. This entry-level volunteer role allows for fully remote and flexible work, helping to shape a growing activist movement. Ideal candidates are passionate about mental health, experienced in beauty marketing insights, and have a strong writing style.

Responsibilities
- Creating c.1 impactful post a week (IG carousel, infographic, or text-led design).
- Writing sharp captions that critique harmful ads and explain their impact on mental health.
- Engaging with relevant conversations: leaving thoughtful, evidence-led comments and challenging harmful narratives.
- Spotting trends or news where Index:MH should add a mental health perspective.
Index:MH is an independent non-profit demanding accountability from the beauty industry for the harm it causes to mental health. We call out harmful campaigns, expose manipulative marketing, and push for systemic change.
We’re looking for volunteers who can help us grow a strong, activist voice online. This isn’t about pretty posts or “wellness reminders” — it’s about creating content that challenges, educates, and mobilises.
