About the role:

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented French-speaking editor to help us elevate our long‑form content. In this role, you’ll review and refine articles, product marketing, and SEO‑focused content written in clear, professional French. You’ll need an exceptional command of Standard French (français standard) and the ability to edit with precision, strengthening grammar, polishing tone, and ensuring clarity and consistency across every piece. If you’re an experienced French editor who enjoys shaping complex ideas into smooth, engaging narratives and you thrive in a focused, autonomous work setting, we’d be excited to connect with you.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Edit a wide range of content types in polished, natural‑sounding Standard French. You’ll polish long‑form and B2B‑focused content to ensure they read smoothly, professionally, and in a tone that resonates with technical and business audiences.
  • Strengthen clarity, factual accuracy, and brand alignment across every draft. You’ll tighten grammar, enhance readability, and ensure each piece matches the client’s voice while adhering to our editorial and formatting standards.
  • Offer constructive, thoughtful guidance to writers. In addition to making line‑level edits, you’ll provide feedback that helps writers improve their craft, structure, logic, and flow so future drafts are even stronger.
  • Verify facts, data points, and external references. You’ll check the accuracy of statistics, claims, and links to guarantee that all content is dependable, current, and publication‑ready.
  • Apply SEO recommendations without diminishing quality. You’ll incorporate keywords and optimise on‑page SEO elements in a way that maintains clarity, tone, and value to the reader.
  • Maintain open communication with account strategists and lead editors. You’ll provide updates on progress, raise questions early, and keep everyone aligned on priorities and schedules.
  • Follow our style guides to ensure consistency across client work. You’ll apply both internal and client‑specific guidelines so that voice, structure, formatting, and terminology remain cohesive across all content.
About you:
  • Are fluent in French and able to write with near‑native fluency.
