We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, offering a short-term contract.
- Provide high-quality patient care on the General Adult Psychiatry Ward
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice
- Assess patients under the MHA and make recommendations accordingly
- Act as Responsible Clinician (RC)
- Full GMC license to practice
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician status
- Previous experience in a similar role
