Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Cardiff to support day-to-day site activities. You'll work alongside the Site Manager, managing resources and ensuring project delivery aligns with health and safety standards. Applicants should have a construction qualification, background in cladding, and valid CSCS card, with preferred NVQ. This permanent role offers an annual salary of £35,000 - £45,000, and is ideal for those looking to further their career in site management.

Qualifications

  • Construction-related qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Background in cladding or façades with essential QC/QA experience.
  • Valid CSCS card with preferred SSTS qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and delivery of site works with resources.
  • Communicate quality expectations and manage documentation.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams and manage subcontractors.
  • Assist in Health & Safety procedures and documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to quality management and compliance.
  • Attend meetings and monitor workforce performance.
