About the role:

Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of carpentry professionals? Join us as a Skills Coach / Lecturer in Carpentry and make a real impact! This dynamic hybrid role combines tutoring and coaching, where you'll deliver, assess, and mentor apprentices on their mandatory qualifications, guiding them from initial sign‑up all the way to successful completion and EPA gateway. You'll play a vital part in ensuring every apprentice achieves their goals on time, monitoring progress, and communicating with staff, learners, and employers to foster success. If you're ready to inspire, support, and help apprentices excel in their careers, this is the opportunity for you!

  • This is a hybrid role of tutoring and coaching for Carpentry Apprentices.
  • To deliver, assess, coach and mentor apprentices on their mandatory qualifications to meet the gateway for EPA.
  • To be responsible for ensuring timely achievement for every apprentice on case load across all components of the apprenticeship programme from initial sign up to completion.
  • To monitor and report on progress of all learners.
  • To liaise and communicate progress with internal staff, learners and employers as required.
