Sports Coach - Career Teachers

Location: South Yorkshire (Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Barnsley, Doncaster)
Salary: £95-£120 per day
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent opportunities available

Are you passionate about sports and education? Career Teachers is looking for Sports Coaches to work across secondary schools in South Yorkshire. This role combines PE and sports cover with general classroom supervision, giving you varied experience in school settings.

Your Role:

• Deliver PE and sports lessons or activities
• Supervise general subject classes during teacher absences
• Ensure students stay on task and follow school policies
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• No planning or marking required

Requirements:

• Experience coaching sports or working in schools (preferred)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
• Ability to commit to school hours (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
• Availability from 7 AM onwards for shifts.
