A leading construction services provider in Scunthorpe is offering a full-time temporary position for a Building Control professional. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 6 qualification in Building Control and relevant experience within a local authority environment. Responsibilities include assessing applications, conducting inspections, and providing compliance guidance. Competitive pay at £70 per hour under Umbrella LTD, with potential for a £250 referral bonus for successful candidate recommendations.
Key purpose of the role: To assist in the operation of the Building Control service to ensure that statutory requirements under the Building Act, Building Regulations, and associated legislation are fulfilled.
The client is offering a full‑time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority Building Control environment.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and is offering £70 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £57 per hour PAYE), depending on experience and grade.
