Job summary
A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a Cover Supervisor to work across multiple secondary schools in Havering. The role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering lessons, and managing classroom behavior. Ideal candidates should have a degree and at least 1 year of teaching experience. Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure student engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school's policies.

Cover Supervisor to work across a group of secondary schools in Havering, supporting daily, short-term, and long-term cover assignments.
- Supervise whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure that students remain on task.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
- Report back to relevant staff regarding student progress or issues.
- Support with general duties across the school when not covering lessons.
- A Cover Supervisor with a degree and at least 1 year of teaching experience (UK or overseas).
- Strong classroom management skills and confidence to lead lessons independently.
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum is desirable but not essential.
- A flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to different school environments.

- Part-time and full-time positions available.
- Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, term-time only.
