Job summary
A leading global organisation is seeking a Process Technician to join their team in Birmingham. This full-time role involves operating in a manufacturing laboratory to uphold compliance with SOPs, manage production targets, and maintain documentation aligned with cGMP standards. Candidates require at least a GCSE education or relevant degree, alongside at least a year of laboratory experience. Strong communication, digital literacy, and proficiency in MS Excel are essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to support world-class diagnostic product production.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience or a relevant degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related fields.
- Prior cGMP experience is desirable.

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their high‑performing team within the Protein Diagnostics Division. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the organisation's reputation for innovation, precision, and excellence.
- Operate within a manufacturing laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
- Support workload management and planning activities to meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with cGMP requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and always uphold safety practices.
- Strong communication and digital literacy skills.
- Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Competence in using computer applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Practical understanding of units of measurement and basic mathematical skills.
- Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to chemical hygiene protocols.
- Manual handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 kilograms.
- GCSE level education (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience, or a relevant degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related fields.
- Prior cGMP experience is desirable.
