Job summary
A well-established car garage in Dundee is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic / MOT Tester to join their professional team. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and strong diagnostic skills. This full-time position offers a salary starting at £15 per hour with excellent working conditions including no weekend work. Immediate starts available.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Valid MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
- Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed timely and meets safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients.

Education
We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Motor Mechanic / MOT Tester to join a well-established, independently run car garage located in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to become part of a friendly and professional team.
Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00. No weekend work
£15 per hour and above, depending on experience
