• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or HGV Fitter.

HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter - Night Shift (Willenhall)

Join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Willenhall offering up to £55K, Monday to Thursday nights, with great career progression and training - ideal for experienced HGV Mechanics seeking stable night shift work.

Location: Willenhall

Salary: Up to £55,(Apply online only) per annum

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm to 6:00am

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on HGVs and trailers to VOSA standards
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and efficiently
• Complete MOT preparation and inspections
• Attend roadside breakdowns and on-site repairs when needed
• Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely repairs
• Complete compliance documentation and job cards accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Keep up to date with training and technical developments

Skills and Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or HGV Fitter
• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• HGV Class 1 licence
• ADR licence
• Health and safety awareness in a workshop setting
