A specialized vehicle workshop in Guildford is seeking an experienced Classic Car Technician. This role involves restoring and maintaining iconic vehicles from the 1950s to 1970s, with a competitive salary up to £45,000. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, and a genuine passion for classic cars. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a vehicle technician ideally with exposure to classic car restoration.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrics and mechanics particularly for Jaguar.
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
Responsabilités
- Carrying out maintenance repairs and restorations on classic vehicles from the 1950s-1970s.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults with care and precision.
- Preparing vehicles for road and show use to the highest standard.
- Ensuring all work is completed to exacting quality and safety standards.
- Supporting the wider team on specialist restoration projects.

A specialist workshop renowned for high-quality work on iconic vehicles is seeking an experienced Classic Car Technician to join its growing team.
With a competitive basic salary up to 45000 Monday to Friday hours free onsite parking and in-house training its a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about classic motoring.
This role offers the chance to work on beautifully engineered classics from the 1950s through to the 1970s in a well-equipped environment alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team.
- Carrying out maintenance repairs and restorations on classic vehicles from the 1950s-1970s
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults with care and precision
- Preparing vehicles for road and show use to the highest standard
- Ensuring all work is completed to exacting quality and safety standards
- Supporting the wider team on specialist restoration projects
- Minimum 5 years experience as a vehicle technician ideally with exposure to classic car restoration
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrics and mechanics with particular advantage for Jaguar experience
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Genuine passion for classic and performance cars
- Salary: Up to 45000 basic
- Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am 4:30pm (40 hours)
- Holidays: 20 days bank holidays
- Free onsite parking, in-house training, good working environment with a supportive team
- Overtime: Occasionally available paid at flat rate
