This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in producing and maintaining high‑quality tools for the injection moulding and die casting industries.
- Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools for injection moulding and die casting.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Program and operate CNC machines with accuracy and efficiency.
- Carry out tool calibration and preventative maintenance.
- Time‑served Toolmaker or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proficient in CNC programming and operation; CAD/CAM software experience is a strong advantage.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
- Competent in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, dial indicators).
- Strong knowledge of toolmaking processes, materials, and repair methods.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Experience in CAD design/programming would be a plus.
- Competitive salary up to £33,000.
