Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out MEP coordination on projects up to RIBA Stage 6.
  • Utilize software to produce accurate drawings and models.
  • Collaborate closely with project designers and engineers.
  • Work within a Common Data Environment using BIM360.
  • Support knowledge sharing across project teams.

DMW are recruiting on behalf of our client, for a CAD Coordinator, permanent, to be based in their Leeds office.

Our client operate a flexible working policy where you can work three days in the office, two days working from home.

Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience within the Building Services industry (desirable)
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing your skills within the CAD team and wider business
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Navisworks
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to raise queries, share ideas and liaise effectively with engineers, colleagues and line managers
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out MEP coordination on projects up to RIBA Stage 6, working independently or as part of a wider team
  • Utilise current software and digital tools to produce accurate drawings and models, delivered on schedule and containing all relevant data
  • Collaborate closely with project designers and engineers to fully align project intent, meet defined scopes, and achieve critical programme milestones
  • Work within a Common Data Environment, demonstrating continuous project progression using cloud-based platforms such as BIM360
  • Promote and support knowledge sharing across project teams
  • Engage with delivery teams from early design through to final handover, encouraging a collaborative approach throughout each project lifecycle
  • Maintain and update Revit MEP Family/Content Libraries where required
  • Develop and refine Revit MEP Master Templates
  • Carry out periodic clash detection reviews of building services within BIM models
