Job summary
A well-established client in Shrewsbury is seeking a CNC machine operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position. The successful candidate will operate and maintain CNC machines, set up tasks including drilling and milling, and inspect components to ensure high quality. A strong understanding of CNC machinery and the ability to read technical drawings are essential. This role offers competitive pay from £13.00 to £14.00 per hour and requires reliability and flexibility in working hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high quality components.
- Set up and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling and milling.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
