Job description

A sector-leading manufacturer of low‑volume, bespoke products has a new vacancy for a CNC Machinist to join their growing team. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to produce high‑quality, custom‑engineered components and you will work closely with the design team to ensure products meet and exceed customer expectations.

The Role
  • Programming, setting and operating CNC machines for the manufacture of metal components.
  • Produce low volume, small batch components.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Work with the design & development team to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
The Person
  • Experience programming, setting and operating CNC Milling & Turning Machines.
  • Able to read & interpret drawings.
  • 5‑axis machining experience desirable.
  • SolidWorks or other CAD experience desirable.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
