Zenith People are working with our client who are a Manufacturer looking to recruit a Product Development Engineer to work within their R&D Department on a permanent basis.

The Main Purpose of the role is to develop their existing product whilst liaising with existing and new customers to ensure compliance with their ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior engineers to support new business opportunities.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical requirements.
• Support the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet performance and durability targets.
• Visit customer sites and collaborate with teams across multiple regions.
• Coordinate product testing and validation activities.
• Analyse test results, investigate issues, and recommend improvements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams across Quality, Sales, Production, and Testing.
• Participate in benchmarking and cost‑reduction projects.
