Job summary

A well-established client in Shrewsbury is seeking a CNC machine operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position. The successful candidate will operate and maintain CNC machines, set up tasks including drilling and milling, and inspect components to ensure high quality. A strong understanding of CNC machinery and the ability to read technical drawings are essential. This role offers competitive pay from £13.00 to £14.00 per hour and requires reliability and flexibility in working hours.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a full time temporary to permanent CNC machine operator, to join our well-established client based in Stafford Park, to come and join their hardworking team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high quality components, you will be setting up and operating the CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling and turning, whilst reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and CAD files.

In addition, you will be preparing and loading raw materials and other parts into the machine, and adjusting settings to ensure precision and quality, then you will be inspecting and measuring the finished products to make sure they meet specifications.
