Job Description:
A global role working with and supporting the VP Product Marketing by managing product and brand collaborations and other potential capsule collections from creative collaborations.
The objective is to elevate the profile of DBJ in the creative space, demonstrate industry leadership, and achieve increased sales and margin growth through image-driven capsule and collections designed to meet sales targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the VP in reviewing market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing, and presenting business opportunities.
- Developing campaign strategies and 3-year global plans for product categories.
- Managing regional and global product launches, portfolios, ranges, and pricing with a cost-aware approach.
- Collaborating with sourcing, design, development, strategy, merchandising, and marketing teams on launch planning and development processes.
- Monitoring and reporting on ROI and building relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting product portfolio strategy and launch plans.
- Assisting in product development from brief to in-market performance, including forecasting, pricing, and sales analysis.
- Monitoring competition and sales performance, and making recommendations.
Global Strategy:
- Developing global product strategies to grow the business profitably.
- Setting growth and turnover objectives for the 3-year plan.
- Conducting market research to inform strategies.
Product Marketing:
- Supporting product launch plans and developing creative briefs.
- Managing product development, ensuring deadlines and margins are met.
- Proposing concepts, names, and positioning for launches.
Portfolio Monitoring & Analysis:
- Providing monthly analysis and ensuring range coherence.
- Identifying products to continue or discontinue based on performance.
Financial Objectives & ROI:
- Monitoring and reporting on ROI, optimizing the product portfolio, and achieving revenue and margin goals.
- Implementing cost improvements and pricing strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant degree or professional qualification with significant experience in luxury jewelry branding.
- Proven strategic product marketing experience, including head office roles.
- International experience and project management skills.
- Knowledge of the jewelry industry and strategic thinking with analytical skills.
