A well-known staffing agency in England is looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair vehicle issues, and ensure safety standards are met. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong vehicle diagnostics and maintenance skills, along with experience in welding and fabricating components. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from £27,000 to £35,000 per year.
Qualifications
- Experience in performing routine automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Ability to diagnose and repair issues in vehicles, including engines and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Job description:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed for repairs or modifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working on vehicles
