Description Assistant AccountantTo Support the production of monthly accounts and ensure the correct and efficient control and input of incoming and outgoing payments. Responsibility for ensuring the financial integrity of local accounts and for following procedures and controls such that information is relevant and timely. To provide accurate relevant and timely management information to aid decision-making, ensuring financial integrity at all times. To support the site in ensuring that all standards and processes are adhered to in line with Company policies and procedures. Support in the production of monthly management accounts which are consistent with the accounting and financial policies and procedures of the Company. Submit monthly manufacturer composite to the agreed guideline and timetable. and debt control.Managing unallocated cash daily and ensuring no overdue or aged debts retail or finance.Ensure all purchase invoices are authorised in a timely manner.Ensure all company financial controls are adhered to and any discrepancies reported to Line Manager.Provide data to ensure corrective action is taken to minimise the risk to the business. Assist with ad hoc reports as required to complete month end accounts and any other statutory reporting requirements.Daily banking to be recorded, reconciled and posted daily. Petty cash reconciled and posted. Management of unallocated payments. Safeguard of company cheque book and petty cash.Provide administration cover for the Sales Administrator and Accounts Assistant as required. You will have good Kerridge skillsONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS MOTOR RETAIL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
